The king and queen were devastated when they found Aurora asleep. They called upon the fairies in the kingdom to help. The fairies used their magic to put everyone else in the castle to sleep as well. They then cast a spell to protect Aurora, ensuring that she would awaken only when true love's kiss broke the spell.

Years passed, and a brave prince named Philip learned about Aurora and the curse placed on her. He set out on a quest to find her. When Philip finally found Aurora, he kissed her and broke the spell. Aurora woke up, and they lived happily ever after in the castle."
